Artspace of Minneapolis, MN sought the help of Preservation Studios to select a building to adapt into artist live-work residences. The building was built in 1912 for the Buffalo Electric Vehicle Company, which built electric vehicles in the early 20th century. Preservation Studios completed Part 1of the Historic Preservation Certification Application and the National Register nomination for the project, resulting in federal historic tax credits for the affordable housing project.
