Standing as the second tallest building in the Niagara Falls skyline, the United Office Building is a shining example of the art deco style. It was built in 1929 by Esenwein  & Johnson and served as a hotel. The building fell into disrepair, but was rehabilitated as a boutique hotel by a private developer. Preservation Studios completed the National Register nomination for the building allowing for rehabilitation tax credits for the monumental project.
