| Tom Yots - In 2000, Tom Yots retired from a 31 year career as a public school teacher and in 2002 he received a Master’s Degree in Architecture from the University of Buffalo School of Architecture and Planning. While at SUNY Buffalo, he served as research associate for the Grain Elevator Project and wrote his Master’s thesis on the preservation of the former Wollenberg Grain and Seed Elevator. Upon receiving his architecture degree, Tom began Preservation Studios and since then he has worked on many historic preservation projects in the Western New York area and other parts of New York State as a preservation consultant, preparing National Register nominations, Part 1 applications, and advising clients on the adaptive reuse of historic buildings.
Tom co-authored The Power Trail, History of Hydroelectricity at Niagara, a history of the development on hydroelectric power on the Niagara Frontier, published in October of 2006. He also co-authored Reconsidering Concrete Atlantis: Buffalo Grain Elevators, published in 2007.
Tom served as the City Historian of the City of Niagara Falls and was chair of the city’s Historic Preservation Commission. He is a founding board member of Preservation Buffalo Niagara and currently serves on the Executive Committee of that regional not-for-profit preservation organization. He and his wife Louise restored the National Register James G. Marshall House in downtown Niagara Falls where they owned and operated Park Place Bed and Breakfast for 17 years. They now reside in an early 20th Century Arts & Crafts house near Frederick Law Olmsted's Delaware Park and Parkway system in Buffalo. In addition to their son Jason who is a partner in Preservation Studios, Tom and Louise have a son Ben who lives with his family in New York City. |

Tom Yots |
Jason Yots - Since graduating from the University at Buffalo School of Law in 1996, Jason has practiced community and economic development (CED) law, particularly concentrating on tax credit syndication and municipal finance.
Jason joined Preservation Studios in 2008 to assist property owners, developers and municipalities pursuing CED, historic preservation and historic rehabilitation projects. In that role, Jason helps structure and finance complex CED projects, including the navigation of the historic rehabilitation tax credit allocation and syndication processes and the layering of various CED incentives.
Jason lives in Buffalo with his wife, Becky, and his sons, Jake and George. |

Jason Yots |
Jason Wilson - A graduate of the University of Buffalo's School of Architecture and Planning, Jason Wilson holds a degree in Environmental Design, with an academic minor in Architecture.
Jason joined Preservation Studios in 2009 as a Historic Preservation Specialist and Urban Planner to assist property owners, developers and municipalities with urban design and historic preservation services.
In addition to his work with Preservation Studios, Jason is actively involved in economic and community development projects in distressed neighborhoods within the City of Buffalo. |

Jason Wilson |
Richard Soluri - As a life long resident of Niagara County, Richard Soluri has been an active member in his community as both a public servant and as a concerned citizen. A graduate of Bowling Green University, Richard worked for area insurance company Warren, Hoffman & Associates until retiring after 39 years in 1992 as partner and Senior Vice President of Marketing & Sales.
A resident of the Village of Lewiston since 1981, Richard was elected Mayor of the Village in 1994. Richard would hold that office for fifteen and half years, serving four terms as an instrumental figure in the Village’s recent economic growth.
After retiring from public office in October of 2009, Richard continues to pursue his interest in community development through historic preservation efforts with Preservation Studios as a Government Relations Consultant. |

Richard Soluri |
Caitlin Boyle - Caitlin holds a B.A. in Urban Studies from Brown University and is a doctoral candidate in the Buildings-Landscapes-Cultures track of the architecture program at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
She recently moved to Buffalo to pursue dissertation research on the interconnectedness of community memory and retail spaces within the dynamics of post-World War II neighborhood change. She is excited to learn about Buffalo's history and plans for the future-- and she is especially ready to experience the city this summer through the many events around town! |

Caitlin Boyle |
Michael Puma - Michael is currently in his senior year at the University at Buffalo working towards a degree in Environmental Design with a minor in Architecture. He has previously volunteered at the Buffalo Central Terminal and is a founding member of Buffalo’s Young Preservationists.
He is also a writer for Buffalo Rising where he covers issues related to urban planning, historic preservation, and downtown redevelopment. In his free time Mike enjoys doing independent research on historic homes and buildings in the city. |

Matt Palmieri – Matt holds a B.S. in Business Administration from St. John Fisher College and a J.D. from the University at Buffalo School of Law. Since graduating from law school in 2011, Matt has practiced community and economic development (CED) law, particularly concentrating on tax credit syndication.
Matt joined Preservation Studios in 2011 as a Tax Credit Manager. In that role he assists property owners, developers and municipalities in historic tax credit allocation.
Matt lives in Kenmore with his fiancé, Pam, and his dog, Mya. |

| Jennifer Gajewski - Jennifer holds an undergraduate degree in Architecture Design from the University at Buffalo and graduate degree in the History and Theory of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania. She has worked as an architect with firms in Philadelphia and Washington DC, served two years in the environment sector of Peace Corps, and recently collaborated as designer on an award-winning Unicef rural primary schools development project in India. She is currently researching the history of the Larkin Soap Company manufactory for Preservation Studios. |
